The latest being a slight change in the mail senders profile, which is visible in right Sidebar when the email is opened (Google+ posts in the people widget).
Earlier, the look was simple and no other information was visible.
But, now the changes make using Gmail with Google+ much much easier.
Now About The Change
The recent changes in Google+ posts in the people widget include thumbnails of the photos and videos shared in the post. It will also be easier to share inline images . To share the inline images you will just need to hover your mouse over the image in your email and you will see an option to share it on Google+.
