Features Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Should Offer

Though Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich has been there for a while, but the greatest buzz around is about Android 5 Jelly Bean, the next version of Android [official] read here for the announcement Android 5.0 Jelly Bean To Be Launched In Q3 Of 2012 .

Though there is no official announcement about the features of this new Android version. But we are specifying some the features which are must in the nest version of Android family.

The few Features which should be included:

Powerful Integrated Browser

A mobile version of Google Chrome with tabs and a complete bookmarks bar is expected to be included in the next Android version.
Earlier, iOS and Windows have already done so with their own browsers like Safari and Internet Explorer.
The full Chrome Browser support in Jelly Bean Android 5.0 could prove to be a real match-winner for Google.

In-Built File Manager App

It is expected to have a custom-built file manager. It will help organizing the files and make the task easy for the user in searching the favorite ones scattered in the Memory. Users prefer an in-built file manager app, rather than hunting for a third-party app from the Android market.

Toggle Options

It would be very helpful in saving the device's battery life if Google adds toggle switches. As it will allow users to switch on or turn off. HTC has already done that thanks to HTC Sense UI, the HTC smartphones already has several toggle switches to turn on/off GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Screen Lock Widgets

It is expected from Google to introduce several lock screen widgets that will help view notifications also when the screen is locked. The small widgets like music player, weather or custom clocks could be added. These are also currently available in the HTC Sense 3.0 and 3.5. However, this may not be possible if a user has enabled passcode or pattern lock for security reasons.

Battery Efficiency

Most of the times, users look for hidden custom options to save battery life on their devices. Particular third-party apps are also looked for in order to the same. Hence, a battery management tool would add much value to the next version of Android.

A Standard Keyboard

It may be better for Google actually work on a standard keyboard. Though "Swype" and "Swiftkey" are providing as much assistance as they possibly can.

Upgrade Procedure

The time taken in updating or upgrading Android devices is very large. Although the newly announced Ice Cream Sandwich promises to bring in the updates faster, only a few devices have got the update so far. Considering this, it is highly expected that Jelly Bean will finally pave way for faster upgrades.
