As long as they keep the number of ads limited, I don't think this will be too annoying to people. Most people understand that ads are pretty much a fact of life on Facebook. And Facebook, now going to be a publicly traded company will have to maximize shareholder value so we will see a bit more of this type of stuff. An occasional ad isn't a big deal because I think most people understand that this is how Facebook pays for the free service. I think that Facebook is rapidly justifying their $100 billion dollar rumored valuation when you consider how so many big brands had Super Bowl ads that featured Facebook URLs at the end of them, when you consider the sheer number of companies listed at BuyFacebookFansReviews that do nothing other than promote business pages, and when you consider that Facebook is nearing a billion active users despite the frequent criticism they receive as the 800 pound gorilla of the online world. Generally Facebook has done a great job building features that people and businesses alike value and I think its going to be a big part of the popular culture for some time to come. I think Mark Zuckerberg generally has the business acumen and judgement to avoid making bad decisions that will harm his company and he's going to do well for a long time to come. important category that counts and I think he's going to continue to guide his company well, with a clear long-term picture in mind. I think anybody who underestimates Zuckerberg just because of any perceived personal failings is really missing out on the big picture.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6180951448658536830.post-47834194829359226932012-03-05T02:08:02.429+05:302012-03-05T02:08:02.429+05:30Great, another reason to not like Facebook.

In general though, Google is far superior than Bing. One main reasoning being that you can slap in "That movie where no kids are born" into google and get Children of Men, while on Bing it just gives you some random bullshit. It never knows how to properly construct the search results anyway so I don't even know why they bother with trying to compete with Google.

At any rate, Google is going to be the industry standard for a very, VERY long time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6180951448658536830.post-66801375347308002352012-03-05T01:39:20.297+05:302012-03-05T01:39:20.297+05:30It's cool, I'm usually done with that tab ...It's cool, I'm usually done with that tab if i log out of fbAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
